Do 10 repetitions, alternating sides.

If you have any worries about your back at all, build up to this exercise (and the previous one) over a period of weeks or months.

Watchpoint: If this is the first time you are doing this exercise, even possibly the first four times, I suggest that you lie on your side with your back against a wall so you can feel your middle back supported by the wall. Having your middle back supported will give you a clearer proprioceptive sense of spinal integrity.
